           Dr. Neligan : I don’t think I will change
           anything. None of my career was planned, it all
           happened. For example, I trained in Ireland and
           thought I would live there, but when I moved
           for a fellowship for a year to Canada, it got
           extended! I got offered a job at the University                 At a family holiday in Italy

           Neligan the surgeon vs the author?
           Dr. Neligan : Surgery. The reason I enjoy writing
           is because we were trained in writing essays at
           school. Writing comes easy to me. But surgery
           is why I got into this profession, writing came
           secondarily.

           Interviewer: What in your eyes is the recipe for
           fame and success?
           Dr. Neligan : Following one’s dreams!

           according to you: following one’s dreams or
           opting for the best safe option, while making
           decisions?
           Dr. Neligan: If the safe option is what you love
           then its great. But if you are choosing the safe
           option only because it is safe and not what you
           want, then not great.
