Interviewer : Please tell us about your hobbies
and interests, other than surgery.
Dr. Neligan: I am very much into music, I
play the guitar. At the American society of
reconstructive surgery meeting, I played as a
part of a band, with other surgeons.
Interveiwer : Some quick favourites!

Dr. Neligan : My current favourite movie is
Bohemian Rhapsody
B) Plastic surgery textbook?
Dr. Neligan: Do you need to ask (chuckles)?

Dr. Neligan: Outliers by Malcom Gladwell

Dr. Neligan: Stake, Lamb and Curries!

Dr. Neligan : British Virgin islands in Caribbean
Interviewer :What one piece of advice would
you give to people who have just started their
career as a plastic surgeon?
Dr.Neligan : Follow your heart! If there is
something you love to do, you must. As,if you
do what you love, you tend to become good Dr. Peter Neligan with friend Philip Blondeel
at it. If you become good at it, you become
successful.
Interviewer: One piece of advice for aspiring
authors, who all look up to you?
Dr. Neligan : The sooner you start, the better.
Start writing papers. If you become known as
someone who writes a lot of papers on a topic,
you tend to get invited at meetings as a speaker
and to contribute articles and chapters.
Interviewer: What would you be if not a plastic
surgeon?
Dr. Neligan : My other two choices were
architecture and flying!
Interviewer: I was wondering if you would say
guitarist!
Dr. Neligan : My father made me promise that
I will finish medical school because he was
worried that I might run off and play in a band!
