The R.A.P. team is an initiative from the makers of the online journal magazine PLASTICOS with
the aim of sharing knowledge and information regarding the speciality of plastic surgery and
further avenues for continuing medical education, various societies and fellowships. We aim to
promote residents to write and feature their work so that it helps them in the post residency
period when they enter the real world. We also aim to create a global platform where plastic
surgeons in training can interact and discuss issues pertaining to the field.

The general criteria for becoming a member: Dr. Jyoshid R Balan
1. First/ Second/ Third year M.Ch. or DNB Resident (Can remain members even after clearing the Consultant Plastic surgeon
exam) Sushrutha
2. Members who have cleared an year back or earlier are not eligible.
3. Active participation in group discussion. Elite Mission hospital,Thrissur, Kerala

R.A.P. is now two active WhatsApp groups with more than 300 plastic surgery residents from
